Thinking of sprucing up your entryway this spring season? Here are easy and chic ideas on how you can update your entryway.

We are all aware that the entryway is the first space you and your guests will see when entering your home. Aside from organizing and decluttering the space, it’s also nice to update your entryway from time to time with trends, such as paint colors or replacing some decor according to the season.

Updating your entryway space doesn’t require you to spend too much or even to spend at all. From giving your front door a fresh coat of paint to adding aesthetic plants, here are some ideas you can easily do to update your entryway. Let’s make sure your home makes a great first impression.

Repaint Your Front Door

Got leftover paint? Why not repaint your front door to make a dramatic entrance? You can either choose bold colors, such as red, black, or yellow. We’re loving this pastel yellow front door from Good Housekeeping. It makes the space look warm, inviting, and cheerful.

Change Your Coat Hooks

Update your entryway by changing your coat hooks according to the season or you can also DIY a coat hook with wood and leather. These coat hooks with leather straps are designed to hold hats, coats, umbrellas, bags, scarves. You can also it in your bathroom or as a closet organizer.

DIY Key Dish

A fun way to bond with your kids or to spend some of your free time is to DIY a key dish. All you need is air-dry clay, a bowl, paint, and a paintbrush. You can check the full tutorial on Today’s Parent blog.

Repaint the Walls

Why stop at repainting your front door when you can update your entryway by repainting the whole space. Yes, including the ceiling! Nothing beats a clean and bright entryway painted in white, but you can also choose other paint colors, such as sage, navy, or blush pink.

Create a Gallery Wall

If you’re not a fan of repainting your entryway’s walls, we suggest that you create a gallery wall with photos of your family, friends, places you’ve traveled, pets, or paintings you made. Your entryway is a good space to show off your photos and art collection.

Update Your Entryway With Plants

You can update your entryway by simply adding plants. You’ll be surprised how much indoor plants can liven up the space. If you have a small entryway, you can choose hanging plants or small indoor plants like succulents or air plants. However, if you have enough space, you can style different aesthetic plants together to make the space look visually interesting.
