Learn how to clean your kitchen in 15 minutes! Yes, trust us, it’s possible even when it’s a wreck.

Experts say even if you order take-out or get food delivered to your home, you’d still find yourself cleaning the kitchen even if you didn’t use it. For us, that’s good news since there isn’t really much to clean. However, if you have a family or roommates, or you’re experimenting on a new dish to win Gordon Ramsey’s approval, be prepared to clean up a huge mess. Imagine stacks of dirty dishes, splatters on the stovetop, and crumbs on the floor and counter. Seeing this kind of mess could automatically make you feel deflated.

But we all know that ignoring this kind of mess won’t make it go away on its own. It would continuously stack up and eventually attract pests to your home. Make your kitchen sparkling clean without breaking your back or scrubbing the whole day. We asked experts on helpful steps on how to clean your kitchen in 15 minutes!

How to Clean Your Kitchen in 15 Minutes

STEP 1: Gather your supplies, so you don’t have to spend minutes looking for things you need to clean your kitchen.

STEP 2: Run a sink of hot, soapy water. However, make sure the hot water is tolerable because it’ll cool down as you use it.

STEP 3: Throw off trash and leftover food in the garbage disposal.

STEP 4: Place all dishes, glasses, and pans in the sink with hot, soapy water. Choose plates that’ll be difficult to clean. Fill pans and bowls with hot soapy water and leave it on the counter for a few minutes.

STEP 5: While the dishes and pans are soaked, clean crumbs and trash from the counter and floor and throw everything in the garbage disposal.

STEP 6: Your kitchen might have items that don’t belong in the space. Place these items in a basket and put the misplaced items back in their place.

STEP 7: Place kitchen items where they belong, but make sure not to get distracted by rearranging the whole cabinet and drawers.

STEP 8: Place the dishes in the dishwasher or wash them by hand. You could ask for help from your family member or flatmates if you don’t have a dishwasher.

STEP 9: Clean and rinse sponges and rags. Wash down your kitchen countertop, sink, and gently wipe appliances with food splatter or dust.

STEP 10: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and take out the trash.
