“The Pantone Color of the Year reflects what is taking place in our global culture, expressing what people are looking for that color can hope to answer,” added Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute.
The result is a whimsical, warm, color that perfectly blends blue and a violet-red undertone into one beautiful shade. The color can instantly lift your mood and feel you happy and warm.

Aside from its carefree confidence and a daring curiosity that animates creative spirit, Very Peri, the inquisitive and intriguing 2022 color of the year, helps us to embrace this altered landscape of possibilities, opening us up to a new vision as we rewrite our lives. It’s the color that rekindles gratitude for some of the qualities that blue represents complemented by a new perspective that resonates today.
According to Pantone, as we are living in transformative times, Pantone 2022 color symbolizes the global zeitgeist of the moment and the transition we are all going through.
